Shiitake Mushroom Cultivation Workshop

Saturday, January 27, 10am to 12pm

Shiitake mushrooms contain compounds that support heart health, boost your immune system, and taste delicious! This introductory hands-on workshop offers a comprehensive opportunity to learn how to cultivate shiitake mushrooms. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the process and will inoculate their own shiitake log to take home with them. Please make sure you wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty!

$45 per person, $36 per person for members. 8 people minimum, maximum of 15 people. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by January 22. No refunds for cancellations after January 23.

Members may register for Spring workshops upon receipt of the Spring 2024 Portico newsletter. Spring registration for non-members begins January 11.
