Hills & Dales Estate offers an enriching, fun-filled educational opportunity for students!
QUEST coordinates with the GA Department of Education curriculum to provide each child with the prospect to experience local history, science and math through “hands-on” garden, herb and composting experiences. Student explorers operate in teams and as individuals as they search for information in a variety of settings. Children receive an “Earle the Squirrel” garden exploration guide, and a clipboard for a historical fact hunt.
QUEST is offered free to all fifth grade students in Troup County, and we ask a fee of $3 per student for all other participants. There is no charge for teachers, chaperones or bus drivers. The curriculum is designed for the fifth grade level. However, we are happy to customize the program to fit any age and will do our best to accommodate multiple-grades in a group, including homeschool programs.
The program begins at 9:00 am and ends at 11:30 am, Tuesday – Friday. Students may bring their lunch and picnic on the estate. In the case of rain, we will work to reschedule.
